Spygate: Leads may be sanctioned

Eleven clubs in the Championship have written to the English Football League to demand an extensive inquiry into the Leeds United ‘spygate’ scandal.

Head coach Marcelo Bielsa admitted he sent a member of staff to spy on a Derby County training session 24 hours before the clubs played each other on January 11.

After the spy was spotted and police were brought in, Bielsa then called an extraordinary press conference on Wednesday at which he delivered a presentation and revealed he had done likewise on all of his table-topping side’s opponents.
